OH HEY HAI
So, I've just (almost) finished programming the skill levels in OCEAN Unlike Doom, in addition to standard features like double ammo on Very Easy and Nightmare difficulties and different numbers of monsters, I've managed to implement some additional quirks. Here they are:
* DEFCON 5 (aka Very Easy)
double ammo (like in DOOM)double 'armor' (or A.I.D. in game terms)
slower monstersmonsters respawn, but only once and after a long period of timecheats are disabled (almost... muhaha)no bloody 'Game Over' screens
* DEFCON 4 (aka Easy)
1.5 more ammo1.5 more 'armor'
monsters respawn, twice but still after a relatively long period of timecheats are disabledno bloody 'Game Over' screens
* DEFCON 3 (aka Normal)
monsters respawn, three times and after a slightly shorter period of timecheats are disabledmoderately bloody 'Game Over' screens
* DEFCON 2 (aka Hard)
0.75 amount of ammo given1.5 more 'armor'
monsters respawn, four times with 2 min interval
